Iron Sector
Real-time tactics on the fronts of WW2. No base building, only the forces you command.

Iron Sector puts you in command of a battle group on the fronts of the Second World War: the winter counter-attack before Moscow, the factory halls of Stalingrad, the Kursk salient, the bocage of Normandy, the bridges of Arnhem, the streets of Berlin.
There is no base to build and no factory to queue units from. You get what the battalion could give you, reinforcements arrive when the scenario says so, and every lost tank stays lost. The fights are won by scouting, by cover and by bringing the right gun to the right place.

We document how Iron Sector is built: the sprite pipeline, the lighting, the simulation. The first lesson explains the normal maps that let a flash light a tank from the right side.
